Diamonds Are Forever

A few days ago I found a delightful stocking stuffer at a local grocery store. At first this cute little Hello Kitty cookie seemed like something that might be something to throw into a stocking. While I am not an avid label reader, I noticed this cookie doesn't expire until August 2018!

I was completely intrigued -- what kind of cookie will expire in about a year and half - just sitting on the shelf? The cookie appears to be in good shape with a fair amount of preservatives to keep its shape and texture until next year.

This holiday -- give the gift of fresh, good and wholesome. Remember the best presents aren't presents at all.
