Apple picking

apples

Summer is over. There I said it. It isn’t all bad, we get cranberries, apples, pumpkins, squash, and turkey dinner! I love all those things about fall. I also look forward to the change of season to mark time.

As a business owner, dad and community member we are all marking time. To say this year has been easy is clearly not true - on many levels. However living with the hardships and unrest of the Spring and Summer seasons don’t make much sense. We have so much to be thankful for here in Vermont. Seriously have you eaten an apple straight from the tree - not washing - just eating it! I know it is in this era of germs and fearful living, sometimes it is fun to just embrace life, pick the apple and eat it.

As we gear up for full-blown fall here at Delicate Decadence, I want to remind people this is a new season. New opportunity to embrace what is good about the season - cause you know Winter in coming - right?

Pick the apple! (Wash it if you need to.)
